Screen Sharing: Airplay (Apple Devices)

  1. Ensure the macOS device is connected to the Wi-Fi network.
  2. From the top menu bar, either select the AirPlay icon or open the Control Panel from the top bar and select Screen Mirroring. Then select the desired Solstice display.
  3. If prompted for an AirPlay code, enter the 4-digit screen key visible on the Solstice display. Your device will connect wirelessly to the display and your screen will be streamed in real-time.
  4. To stop mirroring your screen to the display, select either the AirPlayicon or Control Panel > Screen Mirroring from the menu bar. This will show the active AirPlay connection. Select the name of the Solstice display to disconnect.

Installing & Configure the Solstice App – Apple Mac

Step 1: Browse to https://share.mersive.com/

Step 2: Type in the IP address displayed on bottom left hand corner of the Mersive pod under Don’t have an account?

Note (1): Installing Solstice Conference requires elevated permissions. If you do not have elevated permissions contact your IT administrator.

Step 3Disable Share Pod Display: Solstice App > Settings > Conference > Disable Share Pod Display

Step 4Change Security & Privacy Settings:  Search: Security & Privacy Settings > Select Privacy at the top

Select Accessibility > Enable Mersive

Select Screen Recording > Enable Mersive

Step 5Switch on HD Resolution in Zoom: Open the Zoom Client > Settings > Video > Enable HD

Note (1): Installing Solstice Conference requires elevated permissions. If you do not have elevated permissions contact your IT administrator.

Note (2): We recommend installing and testing the Solstice app prior to any meetings.

Note (3): Wireless Conferencing on Apple Laptop is not currently supported!

USB-C Video Conferencing Guide – Microsoft Teams Meetings

  1. Connect your laptop to the USB-C cable presented on the meeting room table.
  2. Make sure your laptop can be seen on the meeting room screen by using the in-room remote control to select the correct Source.
  3. Open the Zoom conferencing application on your laptop and navigate to the settings menu, select “Room Camera” for your camera and select “Echo Cancelling Speakerphone” for your speaker and microphone (as shown).

USB-C Video Conferencing Guide – Zoom Meetings

  1. Connect your laptop to the USB-C cable presented on the meeting room table.
  2. Make sure your laptop can be seen on the meeting room screen by using the in-room remote control to select the correct Source.
