What's a B Corp?
The B Corp certification measures a company’s entire social and environmental impact. B Corps are part of a growing global movement of people using business to do good, putting people and the planet before profit.
From our supply chain and input materials to our charitable giving and employee benefits, B Corp Certification demonstrates that we’re meeting the highest standards of social and environmental performance, transparency and accountability.
Our B Corp Journey
As part of our overall sustainability strategy, we decided to apply to become a B Corp back in 2020. We felt B Corp provided a great framework to continue to build on our sustainability efforts and deliver on our mission to create sustainable, inclusive and happier workspaces.
To become certified, we went through a thorough assessment that looked into our social and environmental performance in five different impact areas: Governance, Community, Workers, Environment and Customers.
Our work so far
Our journey has really only just begun. The certification has given us the tools to continue to build on our ambitious sustainability strategy, join a network of other businesses that are aligned with our ambitions, and inspire others in our sector to do the same!
We intend to keep on improving in every area, and we’ll produce a year Impact Report to share with our members, suppliers, and partners. But there are plenty of great things we’re already doing at Work.Life that have enabled us to become B Corp:
