What facilities and perks do I get as a coworking member?
You’ll have access to showers, lockers, secure bike storage, and a fully-equipped kitchen. We also offer a range of facilities to suit different ways of working, including private phone booths and meeting rooms with video conferencing.

We require all members to pay by direct debit. We’ll discuss the best option for you when you sign up.
How does the £20 monthly fee for Flex work?
The £20 fee is charged at the start of each month and is credited to your usage. So, for example, if you’re charged £20 on 1st January, and your usage costs £40, you’ll only be billed for the remaining £20 when you use the space next.
How do I sign up a team?
Once you’ve signed up, just drop a quick email to our location manager to add your team members. They’ll help get everyone on the same account and set up for a smooth start.
Can I bring a guest?
Yep! You’re welcome to bring a guest. Just make sure they check in at the front desk when they arrive, and feel free to enjoy the space together!
Can I bring my dog?
Yes, we love a bit of dog therapy. We just ask that you keep them on a leash or in your private office so they don’t disturb others.
Can I bring my bike?
For sure! We have bike racks available, so feel free to bring your bike along.
Can I bring my monitor?
Yes, definitely! You’re welcome to bring your monitor. Just check in with your membership team about storage options if you need a place to keep it when you’re not in the office.
Can I rent coworking space in Old Street for one day or just a few days?
For £7 an hour, you can rent a coworking space in Old Street for one day, a few days, or for longer. If you’re planning to use a space more regularly than a couple of days per week, it’s £350 per month for unlimited use of our Old Street shared workspace.
Our hot desking memberships also give individuals or small teams the option to visit any of our locations such as London, Reading and Manchester should they want to mix it up.
What kind of people are members?
What kind of people aren’t! From freelancers and entrepreneurs to individuals or small teams, we cater for everyone and anyone looking to work in a happy, connected community.
Do you offer trial days?
We don’t typically offer trial days but our memberships are super flexible, speak to your membership manager on your tour and they’ll be able to advise on how best you can experience what it’s like coworking with us!
Can my company pay for me?
Absolutely… in fact – we encourage it!
Can I use any location?
Yep, space-hop to your hearts content.
What if there are no seats available?
All our spaces are popular but in the unlikely event there’s no seats left our teams have a few back up options and will do all they can to ensure you’ve got somewhere to work from. If you’re worried it might be a busy day just give the team a call on your way and they’ll let you know how we can best accomodate you.
Can I register my business at a Work•Life address?
Yes, you’ll just need to bolt-on our virtual office package.
Can I receive post?
Yes! Unlimited members can get their post delivered to Work.Life as standard, and Flex will need to add on mail handling from our virtual office package.

My favourite thing about Old Street is our wonderful community of members who are always happy to have a chat by the coffee machine or grab a pint after work. It’s lovely to have such a vibrant mix of people throughout the space.
