We’re super excited to announce that we’re heading across the river, and that Bermondsey will soon be home to the third member of the Work.Life family!
Bermondsey has always been well known for its connections to London markets, and its superb transport links – it might as well be renamed Bermond-easy! This area of Southwark is now, more than ever, burgeoning as a hub of creativity – with an abundance of speciality food and drink services, it’s a place where people can and do feel at ease. This makes it the perfect environment for people like us, who believe in game-changing businesses without the hefty cost of mental and physical weariness.
As our first major venture into South London, our Bermondsey office is unmistakably unique from Camden and London Fields. We’ve moved into a beautifully redesigned Victorian building with views overlooking the Shard – it could be our most inspiring outlook yet!
As we draw the third arrow onto our London compass, our members will also be more connected than ever. The office is 3 minutes walking distance from London Bridge station. This could mean scheduling a morning meet-up in Bermondsey, then feeding back to the team at London Fields in the afternoon.
As our network of spaces continues to grow, we’re delighted to be able to offer our Local and Flex members access to any of our spaces as standard – providing an office wherever they are in London, at some of the most affordable rates in the city.
We’re fulfilling our vision of the future of work in which mobility, comfortability and professionalism come in equal measure. Housed in a stunning old industrial building, with exposed brickwork & tons of natural light, our new space will bring our thriving community to SE1.
It’s unique, but that’s not to say that Bermondsey is entirely distinct from our other offices. We’ve kept up our tradition (some might say, philosophy) of being a stone’s throw away from some of London’s best food markets – with foodie mecca Borough Market conveniently placed at a short walk away. We’re open seven days a week, so you could be spending your Saturdays lunching around the corner at Maltby Street market or digging up some antique furniture at Lassco. It goes without saying that self-care is one of our uppermost concerns and that’s why we believe in moving into London’s top areas for quality of life!
Our community is the most important thing to us – which is why we have a dedicated team at every site to look after our members. We offer free breakfasts, locally roasted coffee, yoga, and a specially curated calendar of events, as well as amazing networking opportunities for all our members.
As a fully immersive community, communicating and reaching out to growing businesses, we’re beyond excited about bringing our work to Bermondsey!
