Located right by Camden Lock and just a few minutes walk from our Camden office space, this restaurant serves up top-notch fresh sushi that’s perfect for a lunchtime treat.
- Purezza Camden
Best vegan pizza ever? We think so. At Purezza, you can choose from tons of delicious pizzas and sides, all completely plant-based.
- Alexander The Great
5* and over 3,000 reviews on TripAdvisor can’t be wrong. Located in the heart of Camden, this restaurant serves up delicious Greek and Mediterranean cuisine that’s perfect for a midday meal.
- Mildred’s Camden
For vegetarian food everyone can enjoy, Mildred’s is the place to be. Serving up everything from plant-based burgers to gluten-free desserts, it’s a great option for a guilt-free lunch.
After work drinks – Top 5 places to go
Now, this is one we’re pretty confident we can dish out recommendations for – our local team has made their way around quite a few bars near our Hawley Crescent office.
- Simmons Bar Camden Town
Daily happy hour? Retro games console? Simmons claims to be the best bar in Camden, and we’d recommend checking it out for some after-work team fun.
- Camden Lockside
With a huge array of craft beers, great views of the Lock, and even a dance floor, this is one of our favourites for a good old team drink.
- The Blues Kitchen Camden
With a buzzing calendar of live music events, we love The Blues Kitchen for something a bit different. Just a short walk from our Camden coworking space, The Blues Kitchen’s a favourite of our team.
- BYOC Camden
BYOC stands for Bring Your Own Cocktail – and this bar does exactly what it says on the tin. You bring along your choice of alcohol, and BYOC’s mixologists will serve great cocktails for your team to enjoy.
- The World’s End
We couldn’t talk about the top places for after work drinks without mentioning Camden’s oldest and best-known pub, The World’s End. This North London landmark is just a few minutes walk from Work.Life Camden and has a massive offering of beers and cocktails.
Camden shopping – best places for lunchtime browsing
We really are spoilt for choice when it comes to shopping in Camden, with legendary markets and vintage stores surrounding our nearby office space for rent.
- Cyberdog
You really can’t list the best shops in Camden without mentioning Cyberdog, a three-story shop with a huge range of party clothing and accessories.
- Rokit Camden
If vintage shopping is your jam, we recommend heading to Rokit Camden, which is filled with many hidden gems and located right on Camden High Street.
- Buck Street Market
Newly-opened Buck Street Market has tons of great food options but is also home to stalls selling clothing, jewellery, and homeware.
- Camden Market
Camden’s legendary market has an eclectic mix of stores and stalls selling everything you could ever think of, perfect for a bit of lunchtime perusing.
- Stables Market
- Filled with vintage treasures and trinkets, the Stables Market is the kind of place you could spend hours in (and believe us, we have!)
Parks in Camden – Green spaces to enjoy
Among all the great restaurants, bars and shops, there’s also plenty of green spaces in Camden and the surrounding areas. In fact, all of these are less than a 15-minutes walk from our shared office space for rent:

- Primrose Hill
- Saint Martin’s Gardens
- Camden Gardens
- Camden Lock Regent’s Canal
Public transport links
As if it could get any better, Camden is also super well-connected, with two stations (Camden Town underground, on the Northern line and Camden Road railway station) within walking distance from our Camden coworking space.
There’s also plenty of buses from Camden town taking you into Central London, East London, or the City of London.
