If you haven’t been to our Clerkenwell space yet, you should make it your New Year’s resolution to pop by in 2018! It’s really something special; not only is it in one of the most charming areas of central London, but this space is a coworking partnership with Verizon – international tech giant and Fortune 50 company! This collaboration offers our members all the benefits of a Work.Life space – an intimate community and personal service – together with the power of Verizon and it’s global network. Sounds pretty great, eh?

Well, like all of our spaces, the membership team is the heart and soul ❤  That’s why we thought it was about time to introduce you to our Clerkenwell Membership Manager – he’s Canadian, so naturally he’s funny, overly apologetic and seriously lovable!

Hi! I’m Dylan; it has now been 7 months working as the membership manager at the Work.Life in Clerkenwell. I had no idea about this part of London before starting here. I feel so lucky to be a part of such an amazing community of businesses which includes restaurants, bars, hotels, architects, design companies and start-ups.

Previously, I spent 6 months travelling around South East Asia while volunteering in Cambodia and Myanmar along the way. Exploring this area of the world was an amazing opportunity and I can give loads of recommendations. One thing I would recommend is hitch hiking if you are ever in Myanmar… they are some of the nicest people you’ll ever meet.

I was a manager at Topshop on Oxford street. Working in fashion retail on one of the busiest streets in the world was quite an experience. Being in such a fast-paced exciting environment was a thrill to say the least. Sadly, I no longer get discount ?

I am from Montreal, Canada and have been living away from home for the past 6 years. I am into running, swimming and biking, hoping to one day do a triathlon. On weekends, I will be exploring exhibitions, enjoying a pint and in the summer going to festivals.

This is my first experience working for a start-up and in the co-working industry. It has been a great place to learn with such a fun working environment. The diverse businesses that work out of the space and the different people I have met make it such a great place to be.

Now at the start of 2018 I am excited for the unique events and activities that will be hosted in the space. We have so many great companies doing exciting things and I cannot wait to see what they will accomplish this year. Work.Life are also expanding, so I’m super excited to be a part of that growth!

Isn’t he lovable? If you’re interested in knowing more about the Verizon partnership, coworking, or you just want to meet Dylan in the flesh, book a tour here.
